Visit statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which guides are read. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other sites, and does not build a profile of you.

Questions you send us

If you use the question form, we store your question, the page you sent it from, the language, and your email address if you give one. We use them only to answer you and to decide which guides to write. We never sell them or share them for marketing. You can ask us to delete your question at any time through the same form.

Your settings on this site

Your light or dark mode choice and your checklist ticks are saved in your own browser. They never leave your device, and clearing your browser data removes them.

When you click an affiliate link, you leave this site. The partner, such as a booking platform, may set its own cookies to record that you came from us. Their privacy policies apply on their sites.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes basic technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and block attacks.
